Job summary

Roots Group of Companies is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Operational Excellence initiatives across manufacturing plants in India. You will drive standardisation, deploy objective setting across departments, and foster a culture of sustainable improvement using Lean, Six Sigma DMAIC, and related tools.

Role demands deep experience in transformation projects, deployment of manufacturing objectives, and hands-on use of Lean tools to achieve measurable gains.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational excellence initiatives (Roots Multiclean Production System, Lean assessment, TEI initiatives).
• Drive change and standardisation across processes for transformation.
• Build a culture of operational discipline and sustainable improvement (CISA).
• Deploy manufacturing objectives across plants and departments (Objective Deployment Matrix).
• Demonstrate manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma DMAIC, process walk, Lean maturity models, SMED.
