Job summary

Roots Group is seeking a seasoned Operational Excellence leader to drive and standardise transformation across plants in Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on implementing OE initiatives, TEI programs, and cultivating a culture of disciplined, sustainable improvement.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience in OE, with hands-on deployment of objectives and proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to deliver measurable gains across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Operational Excellence.
• Experience in deploying manufacturing objectives across plants and departments (Objective deployment Matrix).
• Experience executing operational excellence initiatives including TEI initiatives and CISA.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational excellence initiatives (Roots Multiclean Production System, Lean assessments, TEI initiatives).
• Drive change and standardisation across processes for transformation.
• Build a culture of operational discipline and sustainable improvement (CISA).
• Deploy manufacturing objectives across plants and departments (Objective Deployment Matrix).
• Demonstrate manufacturing tools including Lean, Six Sigma DMAIC, Process walk, Lean maturity models, SMED.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in Operational Excellence
