Job summary

Lupin in Pune is seeking an experienced professional to lead Operational Excellence at the site. You will drive Lean Six Sigma programs, coach teams, and organize rapid improvement events to sustain high levels of efficiency and discipline.

The role emphasizes 5S, cGMP compliance, and data-driven decision making using MINITAB, JMP and Power BI. Ideal candidates hold a green belt or higher, with pharma/biotech exposure, and a track record of transforming processes and cost structures through

Qualifications

• Green belt certification from a premier institute is mandatory.
• Experience in Pharma/Biotech is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with driving Operational Excellence initiatives.

Job description

• Responsible to drive and implement operational excellence program to meet Organization’s goals & KPIs.
• Focus will be to decrease operational cost, streamline processes, improve responsiveness and align continuous improvement activities within the site.
• Responsible for building Lean Culture and provide Leadership in the area of CI for plant to achieve and sustain high level of effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide coaching & training on Lean / Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Plan and coordinate trainings for belt certifications.
• Organize and facilitate kaizen / Rapid Improvement Events.
• Conduct maturity assessment and develop action plans and work through implementations across the organization.
• Hands-on experience with driving Operational excellence initiatives

• Minimum green belt certified from premier institute like ASQ, ISI, BMGI etc.
• Experience of working in Pharma/Biotech company is an added advantage.
• Track and report the site operational excellence programs.
• Ensure the high compliance of discipline, cGMP and 5S in the work areas.
• Should have command on statistical analysis and visualization software like MINITAB, JMP, Power BI etc.
• Should have knowledge on pharmaceutical quality guidelines ICH, EU and US-FDA, pharmaceutical quality management system, upstream and downstream processing etc.
