DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS

POSITION LOCATION: VADODARA, INDIA

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is specifically designed to facilitate support to the Manager on various projects. Analyst is

responsible for collecting and analyzing data, identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and

monitoring results.

Ideally, Green Belt holders serve as a strong resource for this position with Six Sigma improvement

techniques and tactics by partnering with various stakeholders. The goal is to improve operational

efficiency, quality, and processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating under the overseeing of Black Belt Manager.
• Primarily responsible for collecting and analyzing data to identify root causes of process variation and inefficiency.
• Promoting data-driven solutions as against subjective estimate.
• Usage of graphs for showing process improvements in visual forms that are easy to understand and greatly visible.
• Create a communication plan to convey the right information about the project to the organizational leaders and stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to the culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
• Provide regular project updates by presenting facts backed up with data.
• For dependencies and conflicts, prioritizing deliverables based on the direction provided by the manager.
• Engage in a lot of data collection and experiment execution to support Black Belt Projects.
• Utilizing and understanding the best Six Sigma techniques and tools.
• Develop strong working relationships with various team members by initiating and communicating small-scale improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Highly motivated candidate with 2-3 years’ experience with continuous improvement and/or data analysis, preferably in the service industry.
• Self-driven to learn new skills and drive changes in a positive spirit of cooperation and
• Knowledge of Lean principles and other quality management methodologies is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (e.g. Power Point, Excel, Access, Word).
• Excellent data management expertise with proficient knowledge on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Confident in leading Lean/Six Sigma training sessions independently on a periodic basis.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written and ability to interact with various departmental leaders to collate process improvement opportunities
• Strong proven business acumen with problem solving and critical thinking skills.
