JobSummary:
The Senior Green Belt will lead process improvement initiatives, drive OPEXstrategies, and mentor teams to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiencyin production. This role focuses on executing Lean Six Sigma projects withindepartmental scopes, aligning with organizational goals, and fostering aculture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Green Belt-level projects using DMAIC methodology to reducewaste, improve cycle times, and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement OPEXstrategies (5S, TPM, Kaizen) and monitor KPIs like OEE, defect rates, anddowntime.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production bottlenecks andquality issues, deploying corrective actions.
- Train and mentor junior staff/teams in Lean Six Sigma tools andproblem-solving techniques.
- Analyze production data (e.g., material variance, machineutilization) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards onthe shopfloor.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate projectoutcomes to stakeholders.
- Support Black Belts in larger organizational initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or relatedfield.
- 8–10 years of experience in production/operations, with a focus onOPEX in manufacturing (FMCG, automotive, or similar).
- Proficiency in DMAIC, 7QC tools, process mapping, and data analysis(Excel, Power BI).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in training teams and driving behavioral change.
PreferredQualifications:
- Exposure to TPM, 5S, or ISO standards.
- Familiarity with automation/digital tools in manufacturing.
