Job summary

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals (DFPCL) seeks an experienced maintenance engineer to plan and schedule electrical maintenance and shutdowns. You will arrange resources, monitor execution, and contribute to root cause analyses, HAZOP reviews, and MOC implementations.

The role requires BE/B.Tech in Electrical, with knowledge of SAP/ERP, energy-saving schemes, EHS, and ISO compliance to ensure safe, cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical engineering is required.
• Experience or knowledge of SAP or ERP systems is desirable.
• Familiarity with cost and energy saving schemes and EHS practices.
• Awareness of ISO systems and relevant legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Arrange resources and monitor execution of jobs.
• Participate in root cause/failure analysis and HAZOP activities.
• Analyze electrical equipment failures and implement action plans.
• Implement maintenance and MOC jobs within time and budget.
• Supervise and review MOC proposals, supporting procurement and cost control.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling of regular maintenance jobs as well as shutdown jobs.
• To arrange for the resources required for the execution of jobs. To monitor & control execution of jobs.
• To carry out Root Cause Analysis or Failure Analysis (or to participate as a team member) using various techniques and plan & control effective execution of action plans, to participate as a HAZOP member & implementation of its outcome.
• Failure Analysis of all Electrical equipment s failures and compliance as per action plans.
• Implementation of Maintenance, MOC jobs within time & budgeted cost.
• MOC - To supervise, review and ensure timely execution of approved MOC Proposals as per schedule and budget. Support cross functions by preparing Cost Estimates, technical scope of work. Review & Control overall activities pertaining to procurement, implementation MOC jobs (with the help of Bar Chart).
