Job Location: Bangalore

Quest Global is actively hiring for a senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in Bangalore.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze offshore structures such as topside and jacket platforms.
• Perform Pre‑service and In‑service analyses on topside and jacket structures.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input for offshore projects.
• Carry out structural calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of offshore structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for offshore engineering challenges.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition and performance of offshore structures.
• Identify anomalies from structural inspection reports, perform risk assessments, and recommend engineering repairs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, including cost estimates and schedules.
• Be familiar with relevant civil & structural codes such as API, AISC, ACI, Euro.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with multinational customers, site engineers, and technical queries.
• Train and mentor junior team members by creating training materials and conducting training sessions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering; Master's degree in structural engineering is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in offshore oil and gas projects.
• Hands‑on experience developing & analyzing steel and reinforced concrete structures (including foundations) models using industry‑standard software such as STAAD Pro, SACS, and Mathcad.
• Knowledge of FEA software like Ansys and Abaqus is an added advantage.
• Experience developing design calculation sheets for reinforced concrete and steel structures using design codes and standards.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and positive thinking.
