The ideal candidate has 5+ years of offshore experience, expert STAAD Pro and AutoCAD skills, and proven leadership abilities to mentor teams and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine, or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of offshore, marine, oil & gas, or EPC project experience.
• Proven offshore structural design and leadership.
• Expert proficiency in STAAD Pro.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Hands-on with SACS, SESAM, ANSYS.
• Familiar with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore structural design for jackets, topsides, FPSOs, subsea structures, and marine facilities.
• Perform, review, and approve nonlinear analyses (ULS, FLS, ALS).
• Run advanced analyses with STAAD Pro, SACS, SESAM, ANSYS.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and contractors.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural engineering activities for complex Marine, Offshore, and Oil & Gas projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in offshore structural design and analysis, project ownership, engineering leadership, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering and design for offshore jackets, topsides, FPSOs, subsea structures, and marine facilities.
• Perform, review, and approve ULS, FLS, ALS, and non-linear structural analyses.
• Execute advanced structural analysis using STAAD Pro, SACS, SESAM, ANSYS, or equivalent software.
• Lead engineering packages and ensure compliance with schedule, cost, quality, and technical requirements.
• Review and approve structural designs, calculations, drawings, methodologies, and technical decisions.
• Develop structural engineering methodologies, design strategies, and project execution approaches.
• Support lifting, load-out, transportation, installation, and temporary works analyses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable API, ISO, DNV, AISC, and project-specific standards.
• Review and approve technical deviations, design changes, and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, and Project Management.
• Interface effectively with clients, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct technical design reviews, risk assessments, constructability reviews, and value engineering studies.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to strengthening technical team capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering procedures, standards, calculations, and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Offshore, Marine, Oil & Gas, or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in offshore structural design, analysis, and engineering project leadership.
• Expert proficiency in STAAD Pro – Mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with SACS, SESAM, ANSYS, or equivalent structural analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of offshore structural design principles, engineering practices, and applicable international standards.
