Job summary

Exide Energies in Pune District invites a Junior Officer/Officer - Production with a BE/BTech in Mechanical to join the production team. You will drive daily output to meet targets, monitor OEE and yield, and implement TPM guidelines across shifts.

You will analyse process data, coordinate with IED for improvements, supervise maintenance planning, and mentor the shop floor while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly manufacturing with target achievement.
• Familiarity with TPM, quality tools and production metrics.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily production targets and KPIs such as OEE and yield.
• Implement quality controls including first-off inspection and control charts.
• Drive TPM JH pillars and 0-7 steps with safety focus.
• Analyze production data to detect and correct problems.
• Collaborate with IED to implement process improvements.
• Prepare PM schedules, manage breakdowns and maintenance budgets.
• Lead and mentor production team; ensure safe operations.
• Prepare MIS reports and SAP postings.

Job Description

• Achieving Production targets on daily basis.
• To achieve Production KPI like Production line OEE, Metal yeild etc.
• To practice TPM- JH pillar & well versed with all JH Steps of 0-7
• Implement and enforce quality control like first off inspection, daily process monitoring sheets, control charts etc
• Analyse production and quality control to detect and correct problems and finding solution
• Determine and implement improvements to the production process in collaboration with IED section
• Meeting downtime targets, Preparation of PM schedule, Break down maintenance and meeting repair maintenance budgets.
• Good interpersonal relations with interdaprtment & other supporting departments.
• Motivate production team thru training, information sharing, mentoring, feedback, evaluations and task delegation.
• Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and inspects unsafe act, unsafe condition and Near miss to facilitate risk reduction.
• Rejection analysis & well versed to 7QC tools & Promote Kaizen.
• Prepare and maintain production MIS reports & posting in SAP.
