Qualifications

  • Education: B.E./B.Sc. in Chemical/Chemistry/Diploma or M.Sc. in Chemical/Chemistry.
  • Experience: 1–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily planned and scheduled work to complete the production packing plan for solvents and solids.
  • Effectively supervise the assigned tasks of associates to ensure maximum productivity with the desired quality.
  • Ensure issuance and reconciliation of raw and packaging materials as per GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure proper transfer of finished goods from the production area to the store.
  • Maintain zero accidents in the plant by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain batch production records, logbooks, and TT registers for proper documentation.
  • Train and supervise all contract labor working in the department.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the production area as per standard procedures.
  • Fill and manage documents such as BPCR, ECR, and logbooks in the online system.
  • Report deviations and incidents during plant operations.
  • Monitor and ensure completion of preventive maintenance for all equipment.

Job description

The Opportunity

The candidate will perform chemical handling activities by following a defined set of procedures and standard practices to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role involves handling hazardous materials (preparing, weighing, packaging, filling, and labeling) using all required safety gear, in accordance with cGMP, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and departmental procedures.

The candidate will ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, hazardous material handling standards, and compliance guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. They will also communicate with team members within the job area to exchange essential information and provide explanations or interpretations to ensure alignment and understanding.
