Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to handle chemicals in a controlled production environment, ensuring safety, cGMP compliance, and proper handling of hazardous materials including weighing, packaging, filling, and labeling.

The role requires following defined procedures, maintaining accurate batch records, and collaborating with the team to ensure on-time production, quality, and a zero-accident safety record in the plant.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Sc. in Chemical/Chemistry/Diploma or M.Sc. in Chemical/Chemistry
• Experience: 15 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Execute daily planned and scheduled work to complete the production packing plan for solvents and solids.
• Effectively supervise the assigned tasks of associates to ensure maximum productivity with the desired quality.
• Ensure issuance and reconciliation of raw and packaging materials as per GMP guidelines.
• Ensure proper transfer of finished goods from the production area to the store.
• Maintain zero accidents in the plant by adhering to all safety protocols.
• Maintain batch production records, logbooks, and TT registers for proper documentation.
• Train and supervise all contract labor working in the department.
• Maintain cleanliness in the production area as per standard procedures.
• Fill and manage documents such as BPCR, ECR, and logbooks in the online system.
• Report deviations and incidents during plant operations.
• Monitor and ensure completion of preventive maintenance for all equipment.
