Avantor invites applications for an Apprentice in Gujarat to support the Quality team in maintaining product and process quality standards. The role focuses on quality assurance and quality control activities, including inspections, documentation, and continuous improvement, while learning core procedures and safety requirements.
The candidate will learn QMS procedures, assist with audits, and help maintain compliance with regulatory expectations.
The Apprentice will support the Quality team in maintaining product and process quality standards while gaining practical experience in quality assurance and quality control activities. This entry-level position involves assisting with inspections, documentation, quality record maintenance, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent will learn and apply company quality procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards to ensure products meet customer and regulatory expectations.
Diploma, B.Sc., BE/B.Tech., M.Sc., or an equivalent qualification. Freshers are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of quality processes, manufacturing environments, or laboratory practices is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and accuracy. Willingness to learn quality systems, standards, inspection processes, and follow established procedures. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer proficiency (MS Word & Excel) with the ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in performing quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Support the documentation and maintenance of quality records, inspection reports, and quality logs. Learn and follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, policies, and work instructions. Assist in identifying, documenting, and reporting quality issues or non-conformances. Support quality audits, investigations, and corrective action activities as directed. Help maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Assist in collecting samples and performing basic quality checks as required. Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and compliant with safety and quality standards. Support inventory verification and material traceability activities when required. Participate in continuous improvement and quality-related projects. Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality guidelines. Perform other duties and learning assignments as directed by the Quality team.
