Job summary

TopGear Consultants Pvt Ltd. seeks a skilled engineer to understand customer requirements and collaborate with the technical team to craft technical and commercial offers. You will design 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools, define specs, perform calculations, and develop BOMs with cost estimates.

• Understand customer requirements, engineering problems and application needs.
• Coordinate with the TSS/technical team to develop appropriate solutions.
• Design and develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CAD tools.
• Define product specifications based on customer and application requirements.
• Prepare engineering calculations and support technical evaluation.
• Develop BOMs and calculate product/offer costs.
• Prepare and present technical offers and related documentation.
• Perform cost/value analysis to support competitive offer preparation.
• Understand manufacturing processes and wear measurement requirements.
• Identify and understand key customer pain points and provide suitable engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with internal PMG teams, vendors and customers for offer-related requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical and commercial offer documentation.
• Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation in the offer development process.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from Metals & Mining, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
