Nursing Staff - Ward is responsible for providing safe and comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to hospital wards. The includes patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, nursing procedures, documentation, patient education, and coordination with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in assigned wards.
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and clinical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments.
• Assist doctors during ward rounds, examinations, and procedures.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report abnormalities promptly.
• Perform nursing procedures according to approved protocols.
• Provide wound care, dressing, hygiene, comfort, and mobility support.
• Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, and patient records.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and referral procedures.
• Monitor intake, output, nutrition, and other assigned clinical parameters.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment and care instructions.
• Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
• Assist during emergencies and resuscitation activities within scope.
• Follow infection-control, hand-hygiene, and patient-safety procedures.
• Maintain nursing equipment, medicines, consumables, and ward supplies.
• Participate in shift handovers and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Report patient-safety concerns and clinical abnormalities promptly.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
