Job description

We are looking for a skilled NPD Manager with 4-6 years of experience to lead our plastic and steel kitchenware product development team in Bhiwadi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end new product development (NPD), from concept to commercialization.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) for plastic & steel kitchenware products.
• Develop new products based on market trends, customer requirements and competitor benchmarking.
• Handle product development from concept design prototype tooling trials testing costing mass production.
• Coordinate with Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Purchase, Marketing and suppliers.
• Develop and manage injection moulds, dies, fixtures and other tooling.
• Apply strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding and sheet-metal/steel manufacturing processes.
• Develop using materials such as PP, HDPE, ABS, SS, MS and other relevant materials.
• Review 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, specifications and product designs.
• Drive DFM/DFA, VA/VE and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Plan and monitor T0/T1/T2 trials, prototype development and product validation.
• Ensure products meet quality, functionality, aesthetics, cost and timeline requirements.
• Identify and develop suitable vendors for components, tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure smooth transfer of new products from NPD to commercial production.
• Candidate must have already executed similar NPD/product development work in plastic & steel kitchenware (or closely related consumer product manufacturing).

Job Requirements :

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in product development / NPD with hands-on exposure across concept-to-mass production.
• Strong knowledge of product development principles, including NPD and product design.
• Experience working with plastic and steel materials preferred (PP/HDPE/ABS/SS/MS).
• Ability to review drawings, BOMs and specifications and drive trials/testing.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
