Job summary

Esko Casting And Electronics, located in Palwal, is seeking an NPD/Project Manager to lead end-to-end development of aluminium HPDC components. You will review drawings, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and manage timelines, budgets, and PPAP documentation.

The role requires strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and IATF 16949, with excellent cross-functional leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end NPD projects for aluminium HPDC components.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 automotive quality systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects for aluminium HPDC components.
• Review customer drawings, 3D models, RFQs, technical specifications, and feasibility requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments for project planning, costing, and execution.
• Prepare project timelines, milestones, budgets, and periodic project status reports.
• Coordinate HPDC die design, tooling development, tool trials, and modifications.
• Monitor die manufacturing, casting trials, trimming, machining, and fixture development.
• Ensure effective implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC requirements.
• Monitor product quality, dimensional accuracy, casting defects, and process capability during development.
• Drive corrective actions for development issues, tooling problems, and process-related defects.
• Ensure timely completion of customer samples, validation, and PPAP documentation.
• Manage engineering changes and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Track project performance against quality, cost, delivery, and launch targets.
• Ensure smooth handover of new products from development to mass production.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide regular updates to management and customers.
