Job summary

V Guard seeks a senior professional to drive end-to-end supplier development, NPD, project management, and cross-functional coordination for successful product launches. You will manage CFT activities, coordinate proto/pilot/production approvals, and ensure readiness across business case, volume, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

You will lead multiple category development for kitchen appliances parts and finished goods, manage KPIs including on-time-launch and cost savings, and travel

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end supplier development, new product development, project management and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful product launches.
• End-to-end management of CFT activities for new part/CBU development projects.
• Coordinate proto, pilot and production approvals with R&D, Quality, Production and Sourcing.
• Ensure business case, volume, technology, tooling and manufacturing readiness before project launch.
• Maintain project trackers, activity plans and milestone reviews.
• Liaise between suppliers, Quality and R&D to resolve development issues.
• Support suppliers for PPAP and quality documentation until approval.
• Track project delays, escape risks and drive closure actions.
• Identify bottlenecks and conduct review meetings.
• Drive value engineering, productivity improvement and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance to SOPs, NPD process and project governance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-15 years in Product/Part Development, Supplier Development or NPD.
• Lead BU development strategy, roadmap, Tracking and MIS Management.
• Manage cross-functional teams and project governance.
• Lead multiple categories development of part and FG of Kitchen Appliances products
• Own business KPIs including OTL, Launch Quality and Cost Savings.
• Qualification: BE Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Strong NPD and Project Management knowledge.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and technical documents.
• Knowledge of SAP, PLM, S2P and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel across India.
