Job summary

Profound Human Resource Development Advisors in Gurugram invites a Mechanical/Production Engineer to contribute to new product design and development using CAD tools. The role focuses on crafting BOMs, drawings, and technical docs, and supporting prototyping and validation activities.

You will coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Quality teams for smooth NPD execution, assist in cost estimation and material optimization, and engage with vendors for samples and improvements while ensuring

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or Polymer Engineering.
• Experience: 03 years (Freshers can also apply).

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design & Development

• Assist in design and development of new products using CAD software.


• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and technical documentation.


• Participate in prototyping, product trials, and validation.

Project Coordination

• Work with Production, Tool Room, and Quality teams for smooth NPD execution.


• Support Purchase in sourcing new raw materials, spares, or components.


• Coordinate with vendors for sample development and improvements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Assist in testing of new products to ensure performance and durability.


• Document trial results and suggest improvements.


• Ensure compliance with company and customer standards.

Costing & Feasibility

• Support in cost estimation of new products.


• Recommend design/material alternatives for cost optimization.

Innovation & Improvement

• Research new technologies, materials, and competitor products.


• Suggest innovative ideas for product enhancement.
