Job summary

Autogen India is seeking a seasoned NPD Leader to drive product development from concept through commercialization. You will manage cross-functional teams across design, engineering, quality, and production to deliver innovative products on time.

The role requires strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination, with a focus on cost optimization and documentation. On-site opportunity in Pune, India.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor NPD projects from concept through commercialization.
• Define project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Drive product design, prototyping, testing, and validation for new products.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, quality, and production teams.
• Liaise with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure product feasibility and market readiness.
• Ensure smooth handover of developed products to manufacturing.
• Identify opportunities for product innovation and cost optimization.
• Benchmark products against industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Ensure adherence to ISO/TS standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain complete documentation of NPD processes, approvals, and trials.
• Guide and mentor the NPD team to enhance skills and improve performance.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
