Job summary

Orotex Chemicals India seeks an NPD/Quality Programs associate in Bengaluru to manage PPAP preparation, APQP mapping, and cross-functional coordination for new product development. You will act as Customer PIC, coordinating drawings, specifications, trials and approvals, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements and timelines.

The role requires strong documentation skills and hands-on use of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) to support timely project closure and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NPD, APQP, PPAP, PCR/SCR and automotive quality documentation.
• Good project coordination, customer communication, follow-up, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage PPAP preparation and closure for NPD projects as per customer requirements.
• Support NPD Head in APQP mapping, project scheduling, review meetings, MOM preparation, and action-point closure.
• Prepare, maintain, and update NPD quality documents and records.
• Plan and coordinate NPD trials, final inspection, and trial part approval.
• Act as Customer PIC for new product development, coordinating drawings, specifications, trials, approvals, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tooling, Purchase, and other cross-functional teams for timely project completion.
• Monitor NPD project timelines, milestones, pending activities, and ensure on-time project closure.
• Handle PCR/SCR control, including coordination, documentation, tracking, and closure.
• Follow up on customer/internal action points and elevate delays or issues to the NPD Head.
• Ensure all NPD activities comply with customer requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
