Job summary

Davi Engineering in Pune (Chakan) is seeking a Senior Engineer NPD to drive New Product Development from concept to production launch.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop APQP/PPAP documentation, perform DFMEA/PFMEA, and ensure adherence to customer specs, timelines and cost objectives. AutoCAD proficiency is required, with experience in ISO/IATF 16949 environments.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years of NPD/engineering experience.
• Experience in automotive/manufacturing industry preferred.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D.
• AutoCAD experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage new product development activities from concept to production launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful project execution.
• Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and maintain APQP documentation for new projects.
• Coordinate PPAP activities and ensure timely submission to customers.
• Participate in DFMEA/PFMEA and identify potential risks during product development.
• Support prototype development, trials, validation, and production implementation.
• Prepare process flow diagrams, control plans, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams for technical requirements.
• Ensure project timelines, quality requirements, and customer specifications are met.
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
