Job summary

Zepto in Bengaluru seeks a Network Support Engineer to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise networks, with focus on Meraki and Fortinet SD‑WAN deployments. You will analyze logs, coordinate with teams, and implement changes while ensuring high availability.

The role requires hands-on support experience (1–3 years), strong networking knowledge, and the ability to work 24x7 shifts in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with monitoring tools preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience in a network engineering/support role.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet SD-WAN solutions (Meraki certification a plus).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLANs, NAT, etc.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for network performance.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor network and system performance, detect issues in real-time, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Analyze network logs/data to identify trends and root causes; recommend actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to align deployment activities.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki and Fortinet SD-WAN environments.
• Provide expert recommendations for new feature deployments and testing.
• Resolve complex network deployment issues and ensure site readiness.
• Support TP-Link environments including routers, load balancers, and switches.
• Monitor performance with dashboards and ensure availability and reliability.
• Update Meraki dashboard policies, firmware upgrades, and site deployments.
• Maintain network documentation and change-management records.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor network and system performance, analyze events, and detect issues in real-time & Manage the troubleshooting of critical incidents
• Analyze network logs and data to identify trends and root causes of incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Strategically collaborate with all project teams to ensure consistent alignment across all deployment-related activities.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-wan environments, including MX, MS, MR, and Systems Manager components.
• Engage in formal liaison with internal teams and cross-functional technical representatives.
• Provide expert recommendations to internal teams regarding the deployment of new features.
• Implement changes as applicable, conduct rigorous testing, and facilitate formal handover.
• Resolve complex issues related to Network Deployment.

Identify potential failure points and recommend strategic mitigation solutions.

• Provide Level 1 support for network-related issues, including escalations from the service desk and Level 1 support teams.
• Manage and troubleshoot TP-Link environments, including router, Load Balancer, Switches, Access Points and Systems Manager components like omada controller.
• Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability using monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Implement configuration changes and support Meraki dashboard operations, including policy updates, firmware upgrades, and site deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network projects, expansions, and security improvements.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records in accordance with change management procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a network engineering/support role.
• Proven experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet SD-WAN solutions (Meraki certification is a plus).
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLANs, NAT, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly with network performance and connectivity issues.
• Ability to work well in team-oriented environments and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Meraki Dashboard, Fortinet and other Monitoring dasboards).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Maintain and update the knowledge base with documented known errors.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability and flexibility to work 24x7 shifts.
• Thorough understanding of procedures, applications, and concepts within the relevant subject area and their application within the business context.
