Job summary

WORKSENT in India is seeking an IT Incident Response Specialist to rapidly respond to alerts, restore or escalate services according to SLAs, and participate in crisis management calls. You will document outages, track issues, manage backups and security protocols, diagnose and troubleshoot errors, and prepare incident reports.

You will also be required to work the night shift and escalate urgent issues as per SOPs to ensure continuous service reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field is required.
• MCSE/MCSA/CCNA certification would be a plus.
• Willing to work in a dedicated night shift.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly respond to all alerts, restoring or escalating service/applications issues as per established SLAs.
• Facilitate technical/crisis management conference calls during production outages, providing written and verbal updates in timely and consistent manner.
• Track all planned and unplanned Systems & Applications outages through trouble ticketing systems and reporting tools.
• Managing system backups and network security protocols.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting errors.
• Tracking and documenting network issues, server issues etc and compiling incident reports.
• Escalate the technical issues which needs an immediate response or troubleshooting to management as per their SOP (Standard Operation Procedure)
