Job summary

AdaniConneX is hiring for an entry-level position focused on monitoring and supporting day-to-day facility operations of critical infrastructure systems in Hyderabad. You will undergo structured training and progress towards Data Center Network Operations Center (NOC) roles.

The role covers monitoring HT/LT electrical, DG, UPS, HVAC, fire safety, and BMS, with emphasis on alarms, logs, incident management and safety compliance; shifts are 24x7 and training modules include NOC processes and IT

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical equipment operations.
• Willingness to learn data center technologies and NOC operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support day-to-day facility operations of critical systems (Electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, Fire & Safety, BMS).
• Monitor alarms and faults through BMS/SCADA/DCIM/CMMS/EPMS/CRM platforms.
• Escalate operational issues to shift supervisors and stakeholders.
• Maintain operational logs, checklists and incident records.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of equipment alarms.
• Work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment and prepare MIS trackers.

Role Purpose

The role involves monitoring / supporting day-to-day facility operations of critical infrastructure systems such as Electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, Fire & Safety, and Building Management Systems. Selected candidates will undergo training and career progression towards Data Center Network Operations Center (NOC) functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support operations of critical facility systems including:
  • HT/LT Electrical Systems
  • DG Sets
  • UPS Systems
  • Chillers & HVAC Equipment
  • Fire Detection & Suppression Systems
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Monitor alarms, alerts and faults through BMS/SCADA/DCIM/CMMS/EPMS/CRM platforms.
• Escalate operational issues to shift supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain operational logs, checklists and incident records.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of equipment alarms.
• Ensure adherence to safety, operational and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams during service activities.
• Assist in incident management and emergency response activities.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders during Preventive Maintenance and Change Management process
• Work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
• Prepare daily MIS / Trackers and tracking of TAT and SLAs

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical equipment operations.
• Knowledge of industrial facilities, utility systems or building operations.
• Ability to interpret equipment parameters and alarms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Willingness to learn data center technologies and NOC operations.
