Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years in a NOC or IT operations environment.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching).
• Experience monitoring Windows and Linux servers.
• Hands-on with SolarWinds, PRTG or LogicMonitor.
• Familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, ConnectWise or Jira.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network, server, cloud, and infrastructure health using monitoring tools.
• Identify issues before they impact services.
• Analyze alerts and incidents to propose preventive actions.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Escalate critical incidents and support outage management.
• Monitor service availability and adhere to SLAs.
• Generate health, performance, and capacity reports.
• Tune monitoring thresholds and alerting mechanisms.

Roles & responsibility:

• Proactively monitor network, server, cloud, and infrastructure health using monitoring tools.
• Identify potential issues, performance degradation, and capacity risks before they impact services.
• Analyze alerts, trends, and recurring incidents to recommend preventive actions.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution.
• Escalate critical incidents and support major outage management activities.
• Monitor service availability and ensure adherence to operational SLAs.
• Generate health, performance, and capacity reports for stakeholders.
• Optimize monitoring thresholds, alerting mechanisms, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Security, and Service Desk teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation, operational procedures, and incident records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a NOC, Infrastructure Operations, Managed Services, or IT Operations environment.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.
• Experience monitoring Windows and Linux server environments.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as: SolarWinds/PRTG/LogicMonitor
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Understanding of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ConnectWise, or Jira.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment
