Mahindra And Mahindra Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Manager - DE DAC, CDMM with strong hands-on experience in new product development and APQP-driven programs for automotive commodities such as suspension, tyres, brakes, axles, casting and forging.

The role requires deep vendor development and management skills, cost budgeting, capacity planning, PFMEA/Control Plan knowledge, and collaboration with stakeholders to sign off Make vs Buy decisions while ensuring MEPDS processes and PPAP

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical with MBA in Materials / Supply Chain.
• 8–10 years of experience in the automobile sector (3W/4W/CV).
• Hands-on development of suspension, tyre, brakes, axle, casting and forging commodities.
• Strong knowledge of vendor development, SBC, ZBC, Capex budgeting, BOM cost estimation and capacity analysis.
• Experience in supplier assessment and supplier selection audits.
• Make VS Buy analysis with stakeholder sign-off.
• Experience with MEPDS processes, Proto/Tooled up/PPAP approvals.
• Run-at-rate/capacity planning and capacity sign-off.
• PFMEA, Control Plan, quality tools, problem solving, and GD&T.
• Willingness to travel for supplier assessment and development.

• Establish run-at-rate/capacity as per volume projections and sign off capacity.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. New Product Development through APQP , CDMM DE Role
2. Hands on experience of developing Suspension , Tyre , Brakes , Axle , Casting and Forging commodities
3. In depth Knowledge on Vendor development , Vendor management , SBC , ZBC , Capex Budgeting , BOM cost estimation,Capacity anylisis.
4. Worked in Supplier acessment and Supplier selction audits
5. Doing technical synthesis , Make Vs Buy anylisis and doing sign off with stake holders
6. Conducting Manufacturing Feasibility study,FTG planing , FTG buy off.
7. Ensuring Part development as per Project requirements and adhering to MEPDS process e,g Proto,Tooled up , PPAP Approved
8. Establishment of Run at rate / Capacity as per volume Projections and capacity sign off
9. Strong understanding on PFMEA,Control Plan , Quality tools , PRoblem Solving technicques , GD&T,etc Experience 8 ~ 10 Years Industry Preferred Automobile - 3W,4W,Commercial vehicles

BE Mech + MBA ( Materials / supply Chian )
