Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for New Product Development focused on EGS commodity parts such as rubber and seals. The role involves hands-on development, sourcing, and ensuring compliance with APQP and PPAP under MEPDS processes.

You will conduct feasibility studies, plan FTG, and drive capacity sign-off with Run at Rate targets. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive product development, BE Mechanical, and experience in PPAP, APQP, SPC, and CMVR

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree required.
• 3–5 years experience in automotive product development.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP and CMVR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of EGS parts per project requirements.
• Execute APQP via CDMM DE process.
• Perform feasibility studies and FTG planning.
• Ensure PPAP approval and proto tooling.
• Determine run-at-rate and capacity sign-off.
• Apply PFMEA, Control Plan and GD&T tools.

2) Hands on experience of developing EGS commodity Parts such as Rubber Molded parts, Seals , Glass , Mounts,Sealants,TIM,
3) Conducting Manufacturing Feasibility study,FTG planing , FTG buy off
4) Ensuring Part development as per Project requirements and adhering to MEPDS process e,g Proto,Tooled up , PPAP Approved
5) Establishment of Run at rate / Capacity as per volume Projections and capacity sign off
6) Experience on PFMEA,Control Plan , Quality tools , PRoblem Solving technicques , GD&T,etc

Knowledge & Skills

1) Sound Knowledge of Development and Sourcing of EGS commodity parts such as Rubber ,Seals etc .
2) Expert in Non metal RM and Manufacturing Process like Injection and compression rubber moulding , Seal Extrusion , Thermal interface materails.
4) Good knowledge of , PPAP ,APQP,,SPC,CMVR regulation etc
