Job summary

Euronics Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an NPD Executive to drive new product development across washroom automation, stainless-steel fabrication, and related engineering categories.

You will work closely with Design, Quality, Purchase, Production and PPC to move concepts from concept and prototype through testing, approval and commercial production. The role requires preparing specifications, BOMs and drawings, coordinating prototype development and supplier assessments, and ensuring on-time

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in NPD, product engineering, vendor development, manufacturing or a closely related function.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar CAD/design software.
• Good understanding of sheet metal, stainless steel, plastic, brass, electronics and/or assembly processes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications and basic manufacturing requirements.
• Strong supplier coordination, project follow-up and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical ability with a hands‑on approach to development issues.
• Good communication skills and working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage new product development projects from concept, sampling and prototype stage through commercial production.
• Prepare and maintain product specifications, BOMs, engineering drawings, development timelines and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing, trials, sample evaluation and approval activities.
• Follow up with suppliers for components, tooling, moulds, fixtures, samples and development requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers and components in line with technical, quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking, product teardown/analysis and market-oriented product comparisons where required.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, Production and PPC teams to ensure smooth product development and production readiness.
• Support value engineering, design optimization, quality improvement and product cost-reduction initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve technical, manufacturing and supplier-related development issues.
• Support pilot runs, process validation and successful transfer of products from development to regular production.
• Maintain complete project, testing, approval, BOM, drawing and product-launch documentation.
• Track development milestones and proactively highlight risks, delays and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.

Role Summary
