Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive NPD (New Product Development) Engineer to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and launching electronic products, preferably in the IoT or consumer electronics domain. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, vendor coordination, documentation skills, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end development of new electronic products from concept to launch
• Work closely with internal R&D, design, procurement, and quality teams to translate product ideas into solutions
• Handle vendor and component sourcing, especially for electronics parts and modules
• Conduct product validation, functional testing, reliability testing, and certification preparations
• Create detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, product specs, wiring diagrams, and compliance requirements
• Prepare user manuals, training guides, and installation documents for internal teams and customers
• Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure product readiness for launch
• Manage timelines, project milestones, and reporting for NPD projects

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, ECE, or related fields
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in New Product Development in the electronics domain
• Strong knowledge of electronics components, circuit basics, and embedded product testing
• Experience in product sourcing, working with vendors/suppliers (domestic or international)
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and user-facing manuals
• Previous experience with successfully launched electronics or IoT products
• Familiarity with certification processes (e.g., BIS, CE, FCC) is a plus
• Strong communication and project management skills
