Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior NOC Manager with 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations and network operations management to lead our Network Operations Center (NOC) function. This role combines hands‑on L4 technical expertise with strong people and operations leadership, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure.
The Senior NOC Manager will be responsible for 24×7 service assurance, advanced incident and problem management, operational governance, team leadership (L1/L2/L3), and continuous improvement across endpoints, servers, networks, identity, and security platforms.
Lead 24×7 NOC operations, ensuring continuous monitoring, incident response, and service availability. Own incident, problem, and escalation management for infrastructure, network, and security incidents. Act as the L3/L4 escalation authority for critical and complex outages. Ensure SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action plans.
Oversee enterprise Windows and macOS endpoint management. Lead Microsoft Intune administration, including device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, and security baselines. Plan and execute migration from SCCM to Intune, aligning with modern workplace and zero‑trust principles. Ensure endpoint monitoring, patching, and compliance through NOC processes.
Provide L3/L4 oversight for Windows and Linux server environments. Ensure monitoring, availability, patching, and performance optimization of server infrastructure. Support high‑availability and business‑critical systems.
Manage and govern Active Directory, Exchange (on‑prem), and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). Oversee identity monitoring, access controls, conditional access policies, and directory health. Ensure secure authentication and authorization aligned with security standards.
Lead NOC oversight of SonicWall and FortiGate firewalls, including VPNs, security policies, and traffic flow. Supervise monitoring and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and wireless access points (APs). Ensure network uptime, performance, and security.
Oversee NOC/SOC collaboration for Microsoft Defender for XDR monitoring. Ensure timely detection, investigation, and resolution of security alerts and incidents. Support containment, remediation, and post‑incident reviews.
Ensure continuous monitoring of backup jobs and restore readiness. Own disaster recovery (DR) readiness, documentation, and testing coordination. Ensure infrastructure resilience and recoverability.
Lead, mentor, and manage L1/L2/L3 NOC engineers. Drive shift planning, on‑call rosters, skill development, and performance management. Establish operational discipline, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices. Act as a technical mentor and escalation guide for the team.
Own operational dashboards, incident reports, trend analysis, and management reporting. Ensure accurate documentation of infrastructure, monitoring tools, runbooks, and escalation paths. Participate in service reviews with internal stakeholders and leadership.
Lead NOC involvement in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives. Drive automation, monitoring optimization, and tool enhancements. Continuously improve NOC efficiency, response times, and service quality.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, NOC, or managed services operations. At least 5 years in a NOC Manager / Operations Lead / Technical Manager role.
