Job summary

VOIS in Pune invites a Network Support Engineer to join our NOC operations. You will monitor customer networks, diagnose faults, perform 1st-line troubleshooting across IP/data technologies, and ensure SLA timelines are met.

Ideal candidates hold BE/B.Tech, CCNA preferred, and are comfortable with 24/7 rotational shifts in a hybrid work model, with at least 8 days on-site per month. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech Engineering mandatory.
• CCNA-level network knowledge required.
• Strong routing & switching knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication and email-writing skills.
• Comfortable with 24/7 rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor customer networks and identify network faults.
• Acknowledge, assess, and respond to customer fault reports.
• Perform timely and accurate diagnostics and resolve faults wherever possible.
• Maintain accurate incident/ticket details and provide regular updates.
• Complete technical and managerial escalations within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, service desks, internal teams, external agencies, and third parties.
• Perform initial diagnostics across end-to-end services and resolve incidents/alarms within defined technical and time-based criteria.
• Manage reactive incidents through resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Perform 1st-line diagnostics and troubleshooting across IP and Data technologies
• Ensure all ticket actions are completed within agreed SLA timelines.
• Follow defined quality procedures and operational processes.
• Support team members in day-to-day operational activities.
