Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a Network Firewall Security professional with 4 to 9 years of experience. You will manage Cisco firewall solutions, ensure security policies, and collaborate with IT teams to safeguard our network infrastructure.

You will configure, monitor, and audit firewalls, respond to incidents, and implement ACLs as required, while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must-have proficiency in Cisco firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Firepower) and network security principles.
• Strong knowledge of firewall rules, NAT, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience in analyzing and mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
• CCNP Security or CCIE Security certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Cisco firewall solutions, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Monitor and manage firewall infrastructure to ensure security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, firewall breaches, and network vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with other teams to design and implement firewall policies and ACLs.
• Perform regular firewall audits and updates to maintain optimal performance and security.
• Document firewall configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Must-Have - Proficiency in Cisco firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Firepower, etc.) and network security principles.
• - Strong knowledge of firewall rules, NAT, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• - Experience in analyzing and mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities.
• - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members.
• Good-to-Have - Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security are advantageous.
