Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a Network & Security Admin with 3+ years of experience to manage and optimize network operations. The role focuses on routing, switching, MPLS, firewall and VPN implementations, with emphasis on incident resolution and change management.

You will maintain runbooks, SOPs and OPD documentation, while ensuring accurate network inventory, performance metrics, and the use of advanced monitoring tools to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Routing, Switching, MPLS, firewall and load-balancing technology.
• Good analytic skill on Wireshark packet capture.
• Troubleshoot major incidents and manage all the change requests.
• Ensure the documentation, Runbook, OPD, SOPs for all the Network related operations is in place.
• Manage the Network inventory and performance.
• Implementation of Network devices and firewall.
• Provide the required metrics and reporting.
• Good Knowledge on Network Management & monitoring Tools ZOHO OpManager, Net-flow Analyzer, Event Log Analyzer, Network Configuration Manager and Firewall Analyzer
• Exposure in configuring and troubleshooting IPSEC VPN

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with teams to resolve network incidents quickly.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and OPD documentation.
• Monitor network performance and report on KPIs.
• Maintain and audit network inventory and configurations.
