Detailed Job Description

As a Network Engineer for NOC L1 Support based on-site in Gultekdi, Pune, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of network performance monitoring, alert management, incident triage, and L1 customer technical support. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring enterprise network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing alerts and support tickets within strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines, executing router and switch configuration tasks with full read/write access, understanding VPN architectures, applying network security fundamentals, and coordinating closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors for prompt issue resolution. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex network anomalies under strict operational performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise network performance, traffic metrics, and system telemetry to ensure continuous uptime and stability.
• Handle incoming network alerts, support tickets, and operational incidents, ensuring prompt SLA-based resolution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of progressive professional experience in network operations centers (NOC), IT support, or network engineering.
• Mandatory Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) global certification or formal CCNA training certificate.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on operational experience with router and switch troubleshooting, configuration, and read/write access.
• Deep practical understanding of core networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN segmentation, and VPN fundamentals.
• Solid familiarity with IT service management ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Zoho, or comparable enterprise platforms.
