Detailed Job Description

As a Network Monitoring Engineer supporting advanced enterprise networks at ACL Digital in Pune, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of network health surveillance, alert correlation, and incident escalation. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring network performance dashboards, analyzing link utilization and error rates, isolating fault domains, and coordinating rapid restoration efforts with engineering squads. You will utilize your excellent written and verbal communication skills to log tickets, provide clear shift handovers, and communicate outage statuses to regional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time network infrastructure performance, alerts, bandwidth utilization, and device health across enterprise environments.
• Execute rigorous event triage, alarm correlation, and incident ticketing within a Network Operations Center (NOC) framework.
• Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot Layer 1/2/3 connectivity faults, link degradation, and packet loss anomalies.
• Coordinate rapid incident escalation and restoration efforts with field engineers, system administrators, and telecom carriers.
• Maintain meticulous incident logs, shift handover reports, and network documentation using enterprise ticketing systems.
• Adhere strictly to high-availability service level agreements (SLAs), mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR), and operational metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT infrastructure teams and network architecture squads to optimize monitoring thresholds.
• Ensure continuous network availability by participating in proactive health checks and routine infrastructure audits.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 1+ years of progressive professional experience in a Network Monitoring, NOC, or IT infrastructure support role.
• Practical working knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing/switching concepts, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional and stakeholder collaboration.
• Mandatory immediate joining availability (candidates with 15/30 days or longer notice periods will not be considered).
• Legal work eligibility in India with local residency and availability for 5 days a week work from office in Pune.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and multi-tasking capabilities.
