Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless).
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/3 networking across the corporate environment.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity to ensure business continuity.
• Implement and maintain routing and switching configurations per standards.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform firmware updates, backups, and upgrades on networking gear.
• Collaborate with IT teams including Security, Cloud, and Service Desk.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and technology refresh programs.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and audits.

Network Engineer Job Summary

The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks that support business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies, and a passion for maintaining stable and secure IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless networks, and related network services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues across the corporate environment.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity services to ensure business continuity.
• Implement and maintain routing and switching configurations in accordance with organizational standards.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, outages, and service degradation within defined SLAs.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and configuration backups.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, including Service Desk, Systems Administration, Security, and Cloud Infrastructure teams.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, network expansion activities, and technology refresh programs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline.
• 3 years of experience in network administration, network operations, or network engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
