Job summary

Waisl is seeking a Network Engineer to manage and troubleshoot complex network issues and to configure routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls. You will design VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, trunking, STP, and redundancy.

The role requires implementing routing protocols and VPNs, plus firewall rules and security policies. You will analyze traffic and logs, participate in upgrades and migrations, ensure security compliance, mentor L1 engineers, and maintain detailed network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computerscience/IT/Electronics or related field.
• Certifications like JNICA/JNCIS, CCNA/CCNP are preferred.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and cloud networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot complex network issues escalated from L1.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
• Design, configure, and support VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, trunking, STP, and redundancy protocols.
• Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Configure VPNs (IPSec/SSL/DMVPN).
• Perform firewall rule creation, NAT, and security policies (Fortinet/Cisco ASA/Palo Alto, etc.).
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and performance metrics.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Mentor and support L1 engineers.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality network documentation.
