Job summary

MECh Engineers in Gujarat seeks an experienced NDE Level II Technician to join the QA team. You will ensure structural integrity of pressure vessels and equipment by performing high-precision inspections and coordinating necessary repairs to achieve first-pass acceptance on projects.

The role requires ASNT Level II or ISO 9712 Level II in RT/UT/MT/PT, 4–10 years in pressure vessel fabrication or heavy industrial equipment, and strong skills in reading drawings and documenting inspection data in

Qualifications

• Must hold ASNT Level II or ISO 9712 Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT.
• 4–10 years of hands-on experience in Pressure Vessel fabrication or heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Deep understanding of ASME BPVC and related industry standards.
• Strong ability to write technical reports and manage digital inspection data.

Role Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled NDE Level II Technician to join our quality assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of complex Pressure Vessels and equipment. Your primary goal is to execute high-precision inspections and coordinate repairs to achieve consistent first-pass acceptance on all projects.

Requirements

• Certification: Must hold current ASNT Level II or ISO 9712 Level II certifications in multiple methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Specialized Experience: 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience specifically within Pressure Vessel fabrication or heavy industrial equipment.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASME BPVC (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code) and related industry standards.
• Documentation Skills: Strong ability to write technical reports and manage digital inspection data.
