Role & responsibilities
Business Strategy, P&L & Growth
- Own the PD business plan, annual operating plan, sales budget, revenue, profitability and growth agenda in alignment with the Group Business Head.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly sales forecasts and drive achievement of revenue, customer creation, patient enrolment/initiation and market-share objectives
- Identify opportunities across private, institutional and government/PMNDP markets; develop execution plans, tenders/bids, agreements and channel strategies
- Review business analytics, competition, pricing, receivables, secondary billing and market trends and take timely corrective actions.
Sales Leadership & Commercial Execution
- Lead Regional Sales Managers, Sales Managers and the wider PD sales organization; set targets, priorities and review mechanisms
- Drive nephrologist/hospital coverage, customer acquisition, channel-partner development, institutional procurement and disciplined sales execution
- Conduct monthly business reviews, pipeline/forecast reviews and performance
Marketing, Brand & Market Development
- Own PD marketing and brand-building strategy; plan and execute promotional, scientific/educational and market-development initiatives with relevant teams
- Develop customer segmentation, value propositions, campaigns and business-development programs based on patient, physician and market insights
- Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics and product opportunities and recommend portfolio/market actions to the Group Business Head.
Clinical Services Leadership & Patient-Centric Delivery
- Provide business leadership and oversight to National Clinical Head PD and review regional clinical-service performance through defined governance mechanisms
- Monitor patient counselling, initiation, retention, therapy continuation, clinical-service quality, data accuracy and patient-care support without compromising clinical governance
- Ensure strong coordination between National/Regional Clinical teams, Sales and hospitals; review clinical-service needs of nephrologists and effectiveness of field patient-care delivery
- Ensure clinical decisions/protocols remain under qualified clinical leadership while BUH drives resources, performance, service standards and business-clinical alignment.
Stakeholder, Product & Operational Management
- Build strong relationships with nephrologists, KOLs, technicians, hospital administrators, purchase officials, institutions, agencies and channel partners
- Ensure timely resolution of product/service complaints; coordinate onsite assessment and detailed feedback to Manufacturing/QA for investigation and CAPA
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, QA, Regulatory, Finance, HR and other functions to ensure product availability, compliance, customer service and smooth business operations.
People Leadership, Governance & Reporting
- Lead, coach and develop National Clinical Head, Regional Clinical Heads, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Managers and other assigned PD team members; build succession and leadership capability
- Review individual/team performance, training needs and productivity; provide timely inputs to for PMS, manpower and performance-management decisions
- Submit structured monthly/quarterly business and clinical dashboards to seniors covering sales, profitability, patients, customers, receivables, clinical KPIs, risks and action plans
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical business practices, quality systems, approved clinical boundaries and applicable regulatory requirements.
Learning & Development
Actively participate in organizational learning and professional development programs to ensure up-to-date knowledge of dialysis care practices and protocols. Support awareness and education campaigns on renal health and PD therapy.
Experience & Competencies
- Experience: Typically, 1418 years in healthcare/medical devices/pharma/renal-care business with significant national/regional sales leadership; dialysis/PD exposure preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales budgeting, forecasting, institutional/channel business, marketing, team leadership and cross-functional management.
- Competencies: Strategic thinking, P&L orientation, leadership, execution excellence, analytical decision-making, negotiation, KOL/stakeholder management, coaching and result orientation.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in Science/Pharmacy/Healthcare or relevant discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Business Management strongly preferred
