Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Injection Molding Production and Process Setup.
• Strong knowledge of Injection Molding Machines, molds, materials, and molding processes.
• Experience in process parameter setting and optimization.
• Good troubleshooting skills for common molding defects.
• Experience in mold changeover and machine setup.
• Ability to independently handle machine/process-related issues on the shop floor.
• Knowledge of production and quality control practices.
• Experience in plastic injection molding/ automotive / electronics environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Injection Molding Machines for production.
• Perform mold loading, unloading, machine setting, and parameter adjustments.
• Set and monitor temperature, pressure, speed, injection time, holding pressure, and cooling time.
• Ensure stable production with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot molding defects and take corrective actions to maintain quality.
• Identify and resolve mold, machine, material, and process issues.
• Monitor output, rejection, cycle time, and machine performance.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Support mold changeover, trial runs, and process validation.
• Maintain process parameters and production records.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Process Engineering.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Molding Technician Technical Assistant with strong hands‑on expertise in Injection Molding Production and Process Setup. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in operating, setting, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding machines and processes in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Injection Molding Machines for production.
• Perform mold loading, unloading, machine setting, and process parameter adjustments.
• Set and monitor key molding parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, injection time, holding pressure, and cooling time.
• Ensure stable and efficient production with minimum machine downtime.

• Conduct first‑piece inspection and ensure products meet defined quality standards.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams for smooth operations.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of strong hands‑on experience in Injection Molding Production and Process Setup.
• Strong knowledge of Injection Molding Machines, molds, materials, and molding processes.
• Experience in process parameter setting and optimization.
• Good troubleshooting skills for common molding defects such as:
• Short Shot
• Flash
• Sink Mark
• Warpage
• Burn Mark
• Weld Line
• Dimensional variation
• Experience in mold changeover and machine setup.
• Ability to independently handle machine/process‑related issues on the shop floor.
• Knowledge of production and quality control practices.
• Experience in a plastic injection molding / automotive / electrical & electronics / connector manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / NTTF in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Plastics, Production, or a related discipline.
