Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Mold Designer in India to design and develop press tools, progressive dies, and stamping dies. You will create precise 3D models and manufacturing drawings, and coordinate with production, tool room and quality teams through tool development.

The role includes supporting trials, resolving design issues, and delivering manufacturable tooling solutions. Applicants should have a Diploma or Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making or related field, with 5+ years in tool design.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making or related discipline.
• 5+ years in Press Tool / Stamping Die Design.
• Experience in Progressive/Compound Dies and sheet stamping tools.
• Proficiency with CAD software (NX/CATIA/Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal forming, GD&T and tooling practices.
• Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design is a plus.

Qualification Diploma / Post Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Tool Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience 5+ years of experience in Press Tool / Stamping Die Design. Hands-on experience in designing Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Sheet Metal Stamping Tools. Proficiency in NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software. Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes, GD&T, and tooling manufacturing practices. Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design.
