Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of mold and tool design experience.

• Experience with multicavity full hot runner systems.
• Experience with DFA/DFM studies and Tolerance Stack Analysis.
• Strong understanding of mold materials, heat treatment and manufacturing processes.
• Project management and supplier coordination experience.
• Ability to estimate manufacturing costs for mold/tool design.
• Experience with EDM electrodes and related tooling.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Job description

1. Summary:

We are actively seeking a Mold & Tool Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

The successful candidate will focus on designing Molds and tools, particularly multicavity full hot

runner systems. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD) is essential. Design of

Press tools will be an added advantage.

2. Responsibilities:

• Designing, Detailing & Drafting of single & multicavity cold & full hot runner systems for
• injection Molds and tools.
• Conduct DFA and DFM studies to optimize Mold and tool designs.
• Perform Tolerance Stack Analysis for precision and reliability in Mold and tool design.
• Generate drafting and conduct basic engineering calculations for Mold and tool designs.
• Possess a strong understanding of Mold materials, heat treatment processes, and
• manufacturing processes.

3. Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma/Post-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mold and tool design.
• Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD.
• Experience with multicavity full hot runner systems is essential.
• Should have experienced in Mold Wizards of the respective software tools.
• Experience with DFA, DFM studies, and Tolerance Stack Analysis.
• Strong understanding of Mold materials, heat treatment processes, surface coatings and
• manufacturing processes.
• Project management skills for efficient execution of design project with suppliers with
• creation of Grant Charts with Timelines for the individual activities.
• Should be able to do Mold & Tool design & manufacturing Cost Estimation.
• Must be able to do the manufacturing models & drawings including that of Electrodes for
• EDM Machining.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Previous experience in medical components manufacturing is highly desirable but not

mandatory.
