Job summary

Continental in Meerut, India is seeking a Mixing Area Lead to oversee safety, quality and productivity in the production lines. You will coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to meet daily targets and improve line efficiency.

Candidates should have a B.Tech or equivalent and at least five years in mixing processes. The role emphasizes cost reduction, adherence to safety standards, and daily performance reviews (CBT-02) to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Mixing area.
• B.Tech or similar qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and accident-free working procedures and conditions in the area.
• Maintain quality standards and reduce defects and rejection rate.
• Plan and deliver compounds/components and achieve KPIs (Safety, scrap, rework, volume, OEE).
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and supervise department cash/stock efficiency.
• Foster harmonious HR relations and recognize good performance by the team.
• Review last 24 hours performance and drive follow-up actions (CBT-02).

Safety : Ensure safe & accident free working procedures & conditions, ensure safety of equipment's & workforce in the area, tracking & accountability of departmental safety disclosures.

Quality :Ensure good quality of compound/components, maintain quality standards and specifications, reduce defects & rejection rate.

Productivity & KPI's : Managing efficiency of all machines in his area, planning & delivering of compound/components as per requirement, co-ordination with key stakeholders to resolve process & breakdown issues in his department, maintain departmental KPI's ( Safety, scrap, rework, volume achievement, OEE and supplies).

Cost : Ensure improvements through small modification & initiatives, reduce rework, scrap & supplies reduction in his department, Ensure to lead projects for cost reduction.

HR/IR : Ensure harmonious relationship in his area, appreciating for the good job done by the team.

Improvement Initiatives :Daily production and the scope for improvement is communicated through communication channel, bring innovative ideas for improvement.

Conduct CBT-02 to review last 24hrs performance, f/up & actions.

Additional Information

He should have Minimum 5 years experience in Mixing area so that he can learn mixing process as early as possible to deliver good results.
