Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a production specialist in Vadodara to uphold safety and quality standards on the factory floor. You will plan production, set daily/weekly/monthly objectives, and coordinate with planning, order handling, purchasing, and stores to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires lean thinking, SAP literacy, and strong people management. The ideal candidate has a diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering, 2–5 years of procurement/production experience, and excellent

Responsibilities

  • Maintain HE Safety and Quality standard in production line.
  • Ensure compliance of safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Production planning.
  • Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating to employees (blue/white collar/contract).
  • Work closely with planning & order handling function to ensure on time delivery to customers.
  • Close coordination with purchase and stores for timely material availability.
  • Ensure in process quality checks and skill certification of blue-collar employees.
  • Work on productivity improvement.
  • Preparing KPI reports on performance and progress.
  • Identify gaps in efficiency to work on improvements.
  • Ownership of complete line from first step of manufacturing to packing and dispatch.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture -6S, Six Sigma.
  • Production planning.
  • Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating to the employees (blue collar/white collar/contract).
  • Work closely with planning & order handling function to ensure on time delivery to customers.

Your Background
  • Working knowledge of SAP
