Key Performance Areas:

To ensure accurate and efficient mixing of raw materials as per specified formulations, maintaining quality standards, safety, and production targets.

• Plan and execute daily mixing schedules as per production plan
• Ensure proper batch preparation as per approved formulation
• Monitor mixing cycle time, temperature, and process parameters
• Achieve daily production targets with minimum downtime
• Ensure raw material weighing accuracy as per BOM
• Maintain consistency in batch quality
• Coordinate with QC team for testing and approvals
• Identify and control mixing defects (overheating, improper blending, etc.)
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor machine parameters (RPM, temperature, mixing time)
• Optimize mixing process to improve efficiency and reduce wastage
• Allocate work to mixing operators and helpers
• Train operators on process and safety
• Monitor discipline and productivity of workers
• Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns
• Ensure availability of raw materials for continuous production
• Monitor consumption vs standard usage
• Reduce material wastage and losses
• Ensure safety practices in mixing area
• Handle chemicals and materials as per safety guidelines
• Maintain housekeeping (5S) in the mixing section
• Maintain batch records and production logs
• Prepare shift reports (production, rejection, downtime)
• Track KPIs like OEE, yield, wastage
