Job summary

Cover-More Group in Navi Mumbai is recruiting for a finance and accounts professional to manage client bank reconciliations, cash flow, and payment processing. You will also prepare monthly bordereaux and MI dashboards while collaborating with underwriters and stakeholders.

The role requires strong Excel, accounting and bookkeeping skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and in a team within a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling client bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
• Control cash flow within client accounts for premium and commissions.
• Process payments to policyholders and underwriters per SLAs.
• Prepare and distribute monthly premium bordereaux (BDX) by deadlines.
• Respond to enquiries from underwriters and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate to escalate float shortages and other issues as required.
• Work with payment providers to maintain service standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly MI dashboards for reporting.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analyses as required.

• You'llreconcile client bank accountson a monthly basisto ensure accuracy and completeness.
• You'llcontrol cash flow within client accounts, ensuring sufficient fundsare available at all timesfor premium and commission payments.
• You'llprocess payments to policyholders and underwriters in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• You'llprepare and distribute monthly premium bordereaux (BDX)in accordance withreporting deadlines.
• You'llrespond to enquiries from underwriters, internal functions, and other business stakeholders ina timelyand professional manner.
• You'llcollaborate with stakeholders to escal float shortages and other issues asrequired.

• You'llprepare and distribute monthly Management Information (MI) dashboards to support business reporting requirements.
