Job summary

Zurich Cover-More Group in Mumbai is seeking an accounting professional to manage monthly bank reconciliations, cash flow control, and payment processes. The role supports premium and commission payments, with regular MI dashboards and ad hoc analyses to aid business decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel, accounting and bookkeeping skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile client bank accounts monthly for accuracy and completeness.
• Control cash flow within client accounts to cover premiums and commissions.
• Process payments to policyholders and underwriters per SLAs.
• Prepare and distribute monthly premium bordereaux by deadlines.
• Respond to enquiries from underwriters and internal stakeholders timely.
• Escalate float shortages and issues with stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with payment providers to maintain service standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly MI dashboards for reporting.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analyses as required.

So, what’s the job?

• You’ll reconcile client bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• You’ll control cash flow within client accounts, ensuring sufficient funds are available at all times for premium and commission payments.
• You’ll process payments to policyholders and underwriters in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• You’ll prepare and distribute monthly premium bordereaux (BDX) in accordance with reporting deadlines.
• You’ll respond to enquiries from underwriters, internal functions, and other business stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to **escalate** float shortages and other issues as required.
• You’ll work closely with payment providers to ensure agreed service standards are maintained.
• You’ll prepare and distribute monthly Management Information (MI) dashboards to support business reporting requirements.
• You’ll produce ad hoc reports and analyses as required by the business.
