Job summary

Sonalika Tractor is seeking a skilled MHE Maintenance Technician in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment including forklifts, tow trucks and BOPTs in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with MHE and a background in mechanical/electrical maintenance, hydraulics, and safety procedures to ensure reliable operations and safe performance on site.

Qualifications

• 12th Pass or ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, or any relevant technical trade. ITI candidates preferred.
• Hands-on experience with forklifts, tow trucks, stackers and BOPTs in manufacturing/warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of forklifts, tow trucks, stackers, and BOPTs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in material handling equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, motors, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
• Inspect batteries and charging systems, wheels and other components.
• Identify equipment failures and carry out repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain maintenance records and report recurring faults.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure equipment is maintained to standards.

Job Summary
