Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on metallography, failure analysis, and mechanical testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of metals, alloys, and heat treatment.
• Familiarity with ASTM/ISO material testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Metallographic sample preparation including cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing and etching.
• Conduct corrosion testing and assess microstructure.
• Perform failure analysis on failed components.
• Evaluate inclusions, grain size, and phase composition per ASTM/ISO standards.
• Prepare clear results and communicate findings to teams.
