Qualifications

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Messaging Services Senior Specialist to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Responsibilities

• Provide steady state support to the messaging infrastructure, handling on-call support responsibilities, escalations, critical issues, server maintenance activities, mentoring team members and other day-to-day support operations.
• Expert on Messaging technologies - SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises servers and OneDrive for Business.
• A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to end users.
• Understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.
• Flexible working in shifts supporting 24x7 or US business hours steady state operations.

• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collection administration, permissions models, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Security hardening and patch/update management support.
• Collaboration components configuration management.
• Search engine configuration management and Content management configuration support.
• Manage site collection administration, permissions, content types, lists, libraries, workflows, and templates. Configure advanced features such as hub sites, managed metadata, search optimization, and retention policies.
• Utilize monitoring tools and analytics (e.g., Microsoft 365 Security Compliance Centre, SharePoint Admin Centre) to track usage, performance, and compliance metrics. Generate and present regular reports to management.
• Use PowerShell to manage, automate, and script SharePoint and OneDrive environments.
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform). Establish best practices for site provisioning, metadata, and taxonomy.
• Establishing and enforcing organization-wide policies for data retention, sharing settings, and security protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Interact with Microsoft support to resolve tenant-level issues or service outages.
